The Next Generation Joins
Two of G.K. Miller’s sons joined the practice:
Clinton Joseph Miller II began his optometric career at the family clinic and would become a central figure in its continued growth.
G.K. Miller Jr. also joined briefly before founding his own optometry practice in Van Wert, Ohio.
Leadership Passed to Clinton Joseph Miller II
Clinton Joseph Miller II assumed full leadership of the practice, carrying on the tradition of patient-centered eye care with dedication and vision.
Dr. John Grone Joins the Practice
In 1972, Dr. John Grone joined the Delphos Vision Care team, working alongside Dr. G.K. Miller and Dr. Clinton Joseph Miller II. His addition marked a new era of growth and collaboration, strengthening the practice’s ability to serve the community with experience and care.
Dr. John Grone Purchases the Practice
After many years of service, Clinton Joseph Miller II sold the practice to Dr. John Grone. Dr. Grone continued to serve the community while building on the legacy of the Miller family.

Dr. Lois Spangler Purchases the Practice
In 2014, Dr. Lois Ann Spangler purchased Delphos Vision Care from Dr. John Edward Grone, bringing her commitment to modern care and personalized service to the practice. Under Dr. Spangler’s leadership, the practice continued to honor its rich history while embracing innovative vision technology.
Dr. John Grone Retires After 47 Years of Practice
