Lois Spangler O.D.
Optometrist
Dr. Lois Spangler began her journey with Delphos Vision Care in 1986 as an Optical Technician. Inspired by her passion for eye care and helping others, she pursued further education and earned her Doctor of Optometry degree in 1994 from The Ohio State University. A dedicated professional, Dr. Spangler has been a longtime member of both the Ohio Optometric Association (OOA)—where she served as zone president for two years—and the American Optometric Association (AOA), with nearly 30 years of active involvement in both organizations.
Born and raised in the Ottawa area, Dr. Spangler takes great pride in serving the community of Delphos and surrounding area. One of the most rewarding parts of her career has been building relationships with patients and now caring for the third generation of families who trust Delphos Vision Care. She cherishes the opportunity to reconnect with patients during exams and loves the timeless charm and character of their historic office space.
Outside of work, Dr. Spangler and her husband enjoy exploring national parks, playing cards, and relaxing on their back porch with their dogs. She is also a proud member of two local sportsman’s clubs, where she actively participates in and helps organize trap shooting events.

Lisa Recker
Office Manager/Contact Lens Specialist
Lisa Recker has been part of the Delphos Vision Care team for over 40 years. As a Contact Lens Specialist, she enjoys working with patients of all ages to ensure they find the perfect fit and feel confident in their contacts. One of her favorite parts of the job is the close-knit atmosphere among the staff and the meaningful connections she’s made with patients over the years.
Outside the office, Lisa loves traveling with her husband and attending the various sports and other activities her eight grandchildren are involved in. She’s also passionate about baking and enjoys spending time in the kitchen sharing her creations with family and friends.

Mandy Miller
Optician
Mandy Miller’s journey with Delphos Vision Care began in 1977, when she started working at the practice while still in high school—alongside her father, Dr. Clint Miller, who was the optometrist at the time. She went on to earn an associate degree in Optometric Technology from Owens College and began working full-time in 1982. After nearly two decades with the practice, Mandy continued her career in the optical field before returning “home” to Delphos Vision Care in 2021, a full-circle moment she fondly refers to as her “coming home.”
A passionate advocate for the profession, Mandy has held several leadership roles, including president of the Ohio Paraoptometric Association, and was honored as Ohio’s Paraoptometric of the Year in 1999. She also served on the American Optometric Association’s Commission on Paraoptometric Certification and helped organize educational programming for over 20 years as a member of the East West Eye Conference committee. Her outreach efforts include volunteering with the Realeyes and I See programs, providing vision exams and glasses to children in schools. In 2024, Mandy was named the Ohio Optometric Association’s Friend of Optometry, recognizing her long-standing commitment to the East West Eye Conference.
Mandy loves helping patients discover eyewear that fits both their lifestyle and personality. Her mantra, “Life is too short to wear boring glasses,” reflects her belief in making vision care both functional and fun. She considers her work a true privilege and a deep source of joy.
When she’s not in the office, Mandy cherishes time with her family—especially her grandchildren, who keep her heart full and her schedule happily busy.
